A small fix that could make a visible difference
A new fix is available for people testing the next OBS release. On October 20, the project published OBS Studio 33.0.0 RC3, its third release candidate.
The update fixes a problem that stopped browser sources from working when OBS was run as an administrator on Windows 11. These sources let you add web content to a recording or livestream scene.
Still in testing
RC stands for release candidate. The official page labels this a prerelease, so it should not be mistaken for the stable release of OBS 33.
The release notes also include fixes from earlier candidates, such as problems with the virtual camera and switching profiles. Not all of these fixes were added in RC3. If you rely on OBS for a class, interview or livestream, test a prerelease separately before using it for an important session, and check that your plugins still work.
