Less switching between tabs

Google announced autofill suggestions based on information in Gmail, including order, tracking and flight-booking numbers. The aim is to spare you the search for an email and the copy-and-paste step.

Who can use it

The initial rollout covers desktop, Android and iOS in the United States. Product help requires Gemini in Chrome, Personal Intelligence enabled and an age of at least 18. This is not a worldwide launch.

Check before accepting

Suggestions marked with Gemini let you open the source email. You can also turn off Find and fill with Gemini in settings.

A simple check: before confirming a transaction, compare the suggested reservation with the trip you are actually managing. A code appearing in the form does not prove it is the right one for that transaction.
