Tell Facebook what interests you
You watch one cooking video, and suddenly your feed seems to be all recipes. On October 13, Facebook introduced a more direct way to shape its recommendations: describing your interests in your own words.
The option, called Your algorithm, is in the three-dot menu. It lets you adjust the topics in your feed and Reels. Meta says changes can take effect during the same session, without waiting for the app to pick up enough clues from your likes.
If the option is not there yet
There are also more ways to explain why something does or does not interest you. You can give more specific feedback rather than simply reject a post.
The announcement does not specify countries, languages or a rollout schedule for Mexico, so we cannot confirm that the option is already available on your account. It gives you a way to influence recommendations, not complete control over everything you see.
