Explore a topic layer by layer

On October 28, 2026, Google introduced a library of immersive explorations in Gemini: interactive scenes with explanations that let users dig deeper into a topic. Access is available through the dedicated address or the student section.

What is available and what is still coming

It works on web and mobile. The announcement lists English, Indonesian, Hindi, Brazilian Portuguese, French and simplified Chinese; other languages currently receive English content. Audio narration and access directly from a conversation were announced for later, not as already available features.

A practical way to try it

Choose one specific topic and go through a single explanation first. Then try to summarize it in your own words: if you cannot, return to that point rather than opening many layers without pausing. This is a study suggestion, not a guarantee of learning.

If you plan to use it with a group, check the language and access with the accounts participants will actually use. An engaging experience does not replace the sources for an assignment. The cover is a generated illustration about exploring knowledge, not a screenshot or a scientific map.
